Title
Molecular Sieve 5A Absorbent and Catalyst

The pore size for 5A molecular sieve is about 5Ǻ. It can adsorb all kinds of molecular smaller than this size, it is mainly used in separation of the normal and isomerous alkane; pressure swing adsorption (PSA) for gases; co-adsorption of moisture and carbon dioxide. Based on the industrial application specialties, we have produced out our own PSA molecular sieve products, which have better selective adsorb ability and more rapid adsorption speed, being the elaborated products, it could suitable for gases generation and concentration PSA plants of any sizes and any types in the world.

Field Note

Note
Formula:
0.70CaO.0.30Na2O.Al2O3.20SiO2.4.5H2O

Attention:
To avoid damp and pre-adsorption of organics before running or must to be reactivated.

Application
Typical Application:
Pressure swing adsorption
Removal of water and carbon dioxide from air
Useful Area
MOLECULAR SIEVE 5A

Divalent calcium ion is exchanged in place of sodium cation in -4A crystals which gives oire apertures of -5Ao. 5A molecular sieve exclude molecules of effective diameter >5A0, e.g., all 4-carbon rings, and iso-compounds.

Molecular sieve 5A adsorbs n-paraffin irrespective of chain lenght and not the branched chain hydrocarbon. Hence it is uesed for specific applications like separations of normal from branched chain paraffin. 5A has excellent drying capacity with simultaneously removing other impurities such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide. Our molecular sieve exhibits high resistance to attrition and physical damage during serivce.
